Things to Come

Within the coming days, there will be articles up on how the early church was affected by the likes of Justin Martyr, Ireneous, Ignatius, the Epistle of Barnabas and John Chrystotom and ultimately by the councils set up by Constantine. We will examine why this occurred, and why the Jews view the Christians negatively today. This must be recognized by Christians as something that is a stumbling block between the evangelizing of the Jew today. We will seek to bridge a gap that bears a heavy burden to the Jew today.

We will also examine Biblical feasts and how they are to be celebrated. I believe this is important. We will examine how Christian tradition and holidays attempted to supercede Biblical feasts.

Another topic we will cover is why we celebrate the Shabbat on Friday night. This will encompass an understanding of the Jewish calendar.

Finally, we will examine the crucifixion and the resurrection of Yeshua, and how this matches with his prophetic statements regarding Jonah being in the stomach of the whale for three days and three nights. We will examine an alternative example rather than the traditional viewpoint held by Christians/Catholics that he was crucified on Good Friday and rose on Sunday morning. The goal here will be to look through the events through the eyes of a 1st century Jew who would have been recording the information. We will look at Luke and why he was a Jew, and not a Gentile.

I am hopeful that these topics will interest the readers in the days to come in accordance to God's will, for we know it is good.

Baruch Ata Adonai,
